Slime Defense - Idle Tower Defense is a challenging 'TD' with hints of 'roguelike' gameplay. Your aim is focused on managing the various lines of defense of your kingdom, you have to keep an army of voracious 'slime' creatures from devouring and killing off your citizens.

The mechanics in Slime Defense - Idle Tower Defense are very simple. They're not too far off from any other title in this genre: enemies advance in a straight line to the walls of your city. Your role is to build the various defenses that will prevent these sticky creatures from ending the lives of your villagers. As in every good 'Tower Defense' the attacks of these 'slimes' follows are successively layered in hordes that, once overcome, garnish you with coins to invest in buying new defense mechanisms, unlocking new buildings or improving the ones you already have.

One of the most striking features of Slime Defense - Idle Tower Defense is its dreaded 'permanent death', so characteristic of other 'roguelikes'. It's a high stakes system where, if you lose, you start your game from the very beginning if your walls fall before the enemy. This adds a very twisted level of difficulty to the title, making you rethink your strategy more than once. And it'll also mean you'll suffer more than ever whenever you make a mistake in terms of planning your defenses.

While Slime Defense - Idle Tower Defense is not a breakthrough, its mechanics are solid. And it makes for a fun game that even novices in the genre will appreciate. Plus, its graphics are simply beautiful.
